Responsibilities
- Understand the company’s business and product goals and translate complex requirements into functional technical solutions
- Oversee the design, development, testing and ongoing maintenance of entire technical architecture
- Work closely with the Digital Product team and other key stakeholders to execute company’s roadmap and strategic initiatives
- Advise on technology partners and oversee all system integrations
- Mentor and cultivate a team of internal resources, external resources and key partners, as we well as lead cross-department communication
- Responsible for leading teams to develop, support, enforce and integrate best practices and technology standards across the organization
- Responsible for maximizing system uptime and reliability, including accountability for disaster recovery planning and execution.
- Accountable for success of all technically-oriented project and program initiatives
Requirements
- 10+ years of related work experience architecting, developing and maintaining scaled technical solutions
- Hands-on experience with software development and system administration
- Knowledge of trends and best practices in software development, hardware/infrastructure and app frameworks
- Passion for creating outstanding and intuitive user experiences for scaled audiences and efficient workflow processes for internal users and partners
- Experience in cloud technologies
- Ability to work well independently and in a team environment, including managing direct reports and external partners
- Excellent communication skills
- Problem-solving aptitude
- Responsible and thrive in owning projects from start to finish
