You will:
- Build upon and translate wireframes and written requirements into attractive, effective user interface designs for responsive websites and mobile applications
- Design and prototype user interactions
- Present ideas, concepts, and design solutions to various stakeholders, synthesizing feedback and incorporating it into your designs
- Grow and evolve the company style guide and design patterns over time
You are:
- A creative problem-solver who can iterate rapidly
- Detail-oriented with strong visual design chops and a keen eye for aesthetics
- A strong communicator who can clearly articulate ideas, designs, and suggestions
- An effective collaborator across teams who can interface with product owners, project managers, copywriters, and developers
- Comfortable balancing multiple projects within your area of expertise and with the support of a project manager
You Have:
- A degree in Design, Fine Arts, or a related field
- 3-5 years of prior experience in UI design or similar
- A strong portfolio of past work and the ability to talk through projects and explain design decisions during an interview
- Proficiency with Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Illustrator and Photoshop)
- The ability to give and receive meaningful feedback
- An understanding of the implications of UI decisions on technical implementation and the ability to assess benefits/tradeoffs
Bonus points for:
- Interest in UX/product design and a desire to grow that skillset over time
- Basic front-end development skills
- Early-stage startup experience
